For anyone who loves the sea, the rhythm of the sea is one of the most beautiful sounds on the planet. It seems as though the lapping of the waves never repeats the exact same rhythm twice, and that the sea offers a chronically changing environment that allows you to fall into step with its natural beauty. Climbing into the sea and embracing this rhythm is natural for some people. It just fits the way the perfect set of clothes fit, and there is nothing more peaceful than bobbing almost aimlessly in the sea’s comfort.
The sea calls to many of us, asking us to come find the treasures it holds within. With the depths so great and the mysteries so far off it seems as though the sea is the true last frontier, an unexplored void that rests between continents. No matter how much we believe we know about what lies beneath the surface we are continually finding out that there is much more for us to explore and learn. Without the sea the world could not survive, and our need to protect it is very real and very dramatic. And yet there are those who insist on polluting the sea needlessly and use the sea only for what it can bring them. When you exist in true harmony with the sea you understand that it is much more than a simple route to the next land or the fastest way to ship large containers. Rather, the sea becomes a part of you that you can never really let go.
